Stormont & Reformist Bourgeois Politics – Davy Jordan

Recently we are witnessing the absolute futility of reformist bourgeois politics, as occupied six county deputy first minister, Martin McGuinness, resigns.

Does it matter to the oppressed ; exploited and poor who resigns or for what? The one thing we are certain about, is that it is not in the interests of the most vulnerable in our society, as charlatan politicians  have been exploiting the poor and oppressed, in the interests of their colonial masters for years.
Now we witness one exploiter, attempting to distance themselves from another exploiter, citing one scam and the refusal of occupied six county first minister Arlene Foster, to stand aside as the rationale, whilst they financially benefit from a vast myriad of other scams.
All reformist bourgeois parties involved in the sham, that is Stormont, are complicit in corruption as it’s the very nature of the farce they call government. Reformist bourgeois politics are futile and inherently immoral.
As we witness McGuinness resigning, in an attempt to maintain some degree of control and egotistical status, we see the forces of reaction making every use of every possible means. We see the forces of reaction, making every use of every possible means at their disposal, to retain their class rule. They will attempt to rally their faithful, with the rhetoric of “this suits our strategic objectives” and will decrease the political strength of our opponents, they will say anything as they have ideologically criss crossed and zig zagged to get to where they want.
The hard reality is Sinn Fein have been subsumed into the very system they set out to overthrow.
Imperialism needs a domestic class, which will guarantee acceptance by the masses of imperialisms ideology of exploitation. What is the difference between McGuinness and Foster? For the exploited and oppressed none; so what in reality does the McGuinness resignation mean to the exploited and poor? Nothing is the answer to that, for imperialism and their ambitious strategy, they hope to bury all antagonism and prop up their pro imperialist regime with reformism at all costs.
Counter insurgency strategists say that the most important thing is the struggle against consciousness, because it is the strength of the people’s consciousness that is decisive for victory, in the protracted battle against imperialism.
This resignation is an attempt to hold onto power, not an attempt in any way to help the oppressed and should be viewed as such. Reformist bourgeois politics are part of the continuing problem and are not the solution.
What unites us revolutionaries, is our determination to carry on the struggle against imperialist oppression and exploitaton and to that end Stormont must go!
